I’m not sure what it is about summer time, but it sure increases my love for all things nautical. I can’t get enough anchors! Art work, jewelry, throw pillows, bring it on! I really like this bracelet because it looks a little high end to me, and the thread is an unexpected element that lets you add your personal touch! Make two or three and stack them on wrist, or just one by itself would be cute! Happy DIY-ing!

This DIY bracelet is so creative! Choose beads that you like, some elastic wiring, and safety pins. Put as many beads as can fit on the safety pins, then place two pieces of elastic through the safety pin. When you’ve filled up the elastic, tie the ends of the two pieces together, and you’ve got yourself a custom made beaded bracelet!

I’m absolutely in love with this project! It incorporated so many things I love – big, chunky jewelry, vintage finds, and DIY!
The picture is pretty self explanatory. I think the only supply not listed that is needed is a piece of fabric to glue the buttons to (I think felt would work splendidly!).

I am always looking for new and creative ways to display my jewelry. I have some antlers of my own that I have hung some jewelry on in the past, and adding these little touches would definitely make me pull them out again.
Now I just need to find some more antlers, maybe I should encourage my husband to start hunting…
