All Natural DIY Self Tanner

This is a really cool idea, and one that I’ve never heard of before! Self tanners are a risky product to buy. Does it smell nice? Will it leave me looking orange? Will it be streaky? How long will it last? And the list of unknowns goes on and on, not to mention not knowing what chemicals are in those tanners. Well what about tanning with tea?! Apparently this is a concept that goes back to WWII. Women couldn’t get their hands on nylons, so they would spray their legs with tea and draw a line on the back of their legs to make it appear they were wearing them! How cool is that?!

DIY Bandeau

This is such a great idea, and so simple to do! It’s extremely similar to the DIY Headband post we did yesterday, but on a larger scale (obviously!). Take two piece of fabric – I really like the contrasting colors in the picture! I think a spandex or a fabric with some stretch to it would work the best. Twist the fabrics together and sew them in the back, and voila! You have your very own bandeau top, perfect for sunbathing or wearing under sheer shirt!

With my husband and I trying to be more health conscious in our food choices, I’m so excited to try these two recipes below! They’re both super healthy, and relatively simple, and best of all, hey’re both skewered and cooked on the grill! Bon Appetite!

Corn Hole is a super fun game! We really enjoy playing this game with our friends in a backyard somewhere. Even a few restaurants in town have this outside to play while you wait for your table!

Onion Rings

Few things remind of summer as much as onion rings do. I’m not sure why, but when I think of eating them, I think of sitting outside on a summer afternoon with a watermelon limeade in hand. Yummy!
