Who doesn’t love a good manicure? It’s a way to feel pampered and a little more put together. Gel manicures are all the rage right now and the polish stays a lot longer than the regular kind. I found a way to supposedly recreate this at home.

So just like it says in the picture first use one coat of Sally Hansens “Hard as Wraps”, two coats of your favorite nail polish, and one coat of Sally Hansen’s “No Chip”. I haven’t tried it yet, but I definitely will be!

I just love braids. They are an easy way to look put together without having to try too hard. I especially enjoy wearing different variations of braids in my hair when it’s almost time to wash it (usually on day two or three). It is easy, however, to feel like I do the same braided hairstyle over and over. Here are a few different ideas to try that look really cute!

I, for one, just can’t live without chap stick of some sort.  A personal favorite of my is Burt’s Beeswax, but how much fun would it be to make your own?! This recipe also uses beeswax, and as a bonus, you include a few shavings of your favorite lipstick shade! A DIY tinted lip balm -and just in time for summer. How perfect!  Click here for the directions!

IMG_2392 I’m a sucker for nail polish. It’s a rarity that I can leave the store without picking up a new color. Nail art is all the rage this summer, and I’ve had loads of fun trying some of these tutorials! The first one is super cute, especially with the 4th of July just around the corner.
