Survival! Growing up, our family car had everything for an emergency; water, emergency rations, shovel, blankets, flairs, flashlights, and basically the whole outdoor store! Today I’m lucky if I remember the water and blankets for a long trip over the mountains. A DIY Paracord Survival Key-chain is something I can always have with me and could help in a tight spot!

I love projects that are practical and awesome! You can pick up nylon paracord in any sporting or outdoors store and be on your way. Aside from your cord, grab some scissors, a lighter, and something to attach your cord to (key-chain). This is great for the hunter, camper, fisherman, and outdoor enthusiast in your life. Easy Peasy! The main ingredient you will need is melt and pour glycerin soap. Everything else is easy to come by or lying around. Muffin tins, something to melt the soap in, dye for coloring the soap, and a plastic toy (in this case a frog). The main idea is to melt the soap, pour it into the muffin tin, stick in your frog, and get this amazing little toy/bar of soap for a little one. Do I even own a curling iron?! Hummmm, not sure. I do own a flat iron and I use it every day! I use it for straitening but now I want to try and use it for curling my lovely locks! This a great DIY on how to get Soft Flat Iron Curls!
DIY Soft Flat Iron Curls

These curls are gorgeous but you can’t just use any old flat iron to get them. The one you’ve had since junior high isn’t going to cut it! The perfect iron is going to be kind of skinny, has slightly rounded edges, and the plates get somewhat hot on the outside as well as the inside. Having the right equipment is half the battle!
