This DIY bracelet is so creative! Choose beads that you like, some elastic wiring, and safety pins. Put as many beads as can fit on the safety pins, then place two pieces of elastic through the safety pin. When you’ve filled up the elastic, tie the ends of the two pieces together, and you’ve got yourself a custom made beaded bracelet!

This is a super cool idea! You can make your own family photo lampshade, and it’s not as tough as you might think!

photo_lampshade

Basically, you just need to create your photo collage in a program like Picasa or something which you can find online. The next major step is to print your collage on Vellum, which is a actually a very thin form of leather. With some trimming and shaping you’re basically there!

DIY Pallet Coffee Table

Ok, we’ve featured a pallet coffee table before, but this one has a little different take on it. Instead of leaving the slats exposed, this one as a nice finished look by framing in the sides. I think this really gives a nice look that is still rustic but polished at the same time. Pretty cool!

With this table, after first dismantling the pallet, the slats must be cut to size to fit in your table frame.

A little sanding, a little staining, turns this table into quite the piece!

Fishtail Bun Tutorial!

Here’s a super cute hair tutorial you can try! Could be perfect for a wedding or special event, and looks like it would be perfect for hair with a bit of a natural wave.

Instructions

1) Start with adding some texture to your hair. This will help add some hold, and contribute to that messier look. I’d go with a dry shampoo at the roots, and a salt spray on your mid lengths and ends. Tease the crown area (not too much. You never want to see the tease!). Then do a fishtail braid. This one is done with a side part, but it doesn’t have to be!

2) Then pull the braid apart to loosen it up a bit.

3) Twist it into a bun and secure with pins.

So pretty!
