Burr! Cold! I have turned off my sprinklers for the winter, the leaves have changed and are starting to fall, and soon there will be no more outside time unless it is in a parka. That doesn’t mean I have to give up something I love, like gardening, for 5 months. a DIY Indoor Herb Garden is such a fun idea!

Not only is this DIY fun but it will give some fresh herbs for the winter! You only need a few things to get started on your mini garden. A terracotta pot that drains, chalkboard paint (really any pain you like), something to wright on the paint with (chalk or other), soil, seeds, and a brush. Today was recycling day. Sometimes my bin is just overflowing! If only there was a way  to use those extra things that I can’t cram in…Oh wait, there is! DIY Tin Can Lanterns are just the thing!

A lantern like this is easy and will make your porch, yard, or mantle just light up! Like I said, when that recycle bin is full, grab some tin cans. I think many sizes makes for the coolest look. Get a sharpie and draw out you design. Find a drill and safety glasses and get to work on punching out your design. There are so many options here, I love it! I know I have said it before, but I need easy hair! I can do something more complicated for a night out if I give myself hours to perfect it. Seriously, “Ain’t nobody got time for that!” For the everyday beautiful hair try an Easy Chignon-and you won’t need a single pin!

This is really fun and so great that there are no pins needed! Mine disappear like crazy! Start by putting in a low ponytail, but don’t pull it through the last time. Leave a little loop. Then split the “tail” in half. Twist one half and wrap it up and around your ponytail. I don’t want to give away all the surprises for this! Gluten Free Pumpkin Pancakes

Susan Brinson from houseofbrinson.com has a great recipe for Pumpkin Pancakes, Gluten Free!
While you can find more detailed instructions on her site, you can find the main ingredients below:

Gluten free pumpkin Pancakes

1 1/4 cup gluten free flour (I used King Arthur)
3 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder (make sure it’s gluten free)
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp each of ginger and salt
1/8 tsp each nutmeg and cloves
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
3/4 cup canned pumpkin puree (if you use solid packed, it will produce a denser pancake)
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 egg
