I just love braids. They are an easy way to look put together without having to try too hard. I especially enjoy wearing different variations of braids in my hair when it’s almost time to wash it (usually on day two or three). It is easy, however, to feel like I do the same braided hairstyle over and over. Here are a few different ideas to try that look really cute!

Jewelry Organization

Jewelry can be beautiful and functional and yet oftentimes, it gets thrown into a drawer or hidden away somewhere and getting tangled all together. Why not put it on display and keep it untangled and organized at the same time?

Ombre is here to Stay

By day, I’m a hair stylist at a salon in our downtown area, and I can’t tell you often I get requests for ombre hair color. For about a year now, I’ve also been hearing that the ombre is on its way out, yet I continue to see it everywhere. I can’t help but think that the ombre – in hair color, DIY, home decor, nail art…etc. – is here to stay. Check out this ombre paint tutorial. What do you think? Would you try this in your home? I would!
